Let us introduce you to the magical ingredients in our hand cream, the first of which is a superstar in its own right:
- Have you heard of a substance called ectoine (Ectoin)? Ectoine is a very special natural compound found in extremophilic microorganisms, bacteria adapted to survive in very harsh conditions such as desert drought and salt lakes. Inside the hand cream, it's like a superhero fighting for the well-being of your skin. Ectoine protects skin cells from stress, whether it's dry air, cold weather or frequent hand washing. It's like ectoine adds a protective shield to your hands, keeping them moisturised and soft, even under harsh conditions and for a very long time. And of course, we didn't use a pinch of ectoine, but the maximum recommended amount!
- Ironroot hydrosol is renowned for its skin-healing and rejuvenating properties, and best of all, the very same ironroot from which the hydrosol was distilled into hand cream was still growing in the black soil of Estonia this summer, gathering strength to transmit all its power.
- The oil pressed from the oil plant (Crambe Abyssiniva Phytosterol) is rich in phytosterols, which inside our hand cream take care of forming a protective layer on the skin, keeping it hydrated, soft and smooth.
- Organic Nilotica Shea Butter has been the secret of beauty for centuries, its magic lies in its ability to penetrate deep into the skin, protecting it from dryness, flakiness and keeping it supple.
- Mono butter has similarly achieved star status in cosmetics. It is the result of a special process in which freshly harvested tiare flowers are soaked in coconut oil. The mixture is left in the sun to allow the rich floral aromas to blend with the nourishing properties of coconut oil. The result is a heavenly smelling oil with wonderful skin conditioning properties and that smell... you can smell it in the lotion!
- Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a naturally occurring polysaccharide that binds moisture in the skin and keeps it plump and beautiful. Hyaluronic acid is known for its ability to retain water molecules, making it an excellent moisturising agent. Hyaluronic acid locks moisture into the skin in hand creams, fighting dryness and ensuring soft and smooth hands.
- Prebiulin is a polyfructose that has only recently been discovered. Prebiulin is extracted from natural sources, usually chicory root. In hand creams, prebiulin plays a crucial role as the skin is home to various microorganisms that contribute to its overall well-being, and prebiulin acts as a friend to these good bacteria, maintaining the skin's microbiotic balance.
- Chondrus Crispus extract is a natural substance derived from red seaweeds. The algae are first washed and thoroughly cleaned, then the beneficial compounds are extracted. The result is an extract rich in polysaccharides that lock moisture into the skin and form a protective barrier. The extract also has soothing and nourishing properties.
- Niacinamide, or vitamin B3, improves the texture and appearance of the skin, it helps to rejuvenate the skin by effectively protecting the skin's moisture balance, which is essential for skin health! Niacinamide helps to keep the skin looking young, lighten and prevent pigmentation and keep hands looking beautiful and well cared for.
In addition to the above, the hand cream contains two different skin-softening seaweeds, antioxidant extracts of hibiscus and magnolia, coconut oil and mandarin essential oil, the latter of which makes the cream smell heavenly. As a bonus, this magic cream absorbs wonderfully quickly!
